Oberon was our very first male Bernese Mountain Dog — and truly, the love of our lives. A gentle giant in every sense, he had the kindest soul and a presence that could calm even the wildest day. He arrived to us from Russia, from a highly reputable breeder, and carried an extraordinary lineage. His sire is none other than World Champion Mountain Crystal Gandalf — a name known and respected in the Bernese world.
Tragically, we lost Oberon far too soon due to a heartbreaking veterinary mistake. The pain of his passing still feels raw, and not a day goes by that we don’t miss him deeply. His absence has left a hole in our hearts and in our home — one that will never truly be filled.
But through our grief, we were blessed with a small miracle. We were able to keep his son Oberon JR — a beautiful boy who carries not only Oberon’s stunning looks but his incredible temperament. In him, Oberon’s spirit lives on. His legacy continues to shape the future of our kennel, and we are forever grateful for the time we had with him and for the gift he left behind.
Oberon was more than just a dog — he was family, a teacher, and the foundation of our dreams. He will always be with us, in memory and in the pawprints he left on our hearts.
Dad: Mountain Crystal GANDALF World Champion in 2018 (BOB, Amsterdam). The Legacy Behind Our Line
Mountain Crystal Gandalf is more than a world-class Bernese Mountain Dog — he is a symbol of strength, grace, and impeccable breeding. Born in Hungary, Gandalf quickly rose to international acclaim, becoming a World Champion in 2018 (BOB, Amsterdam) and earning the prestigious title of C.I.B. International Champion, among many others.
Standing at 69 cm and weighing 60 kg, Gandalf had a powerful presence, yet his temperament was always calm, noble, and affectionate — a true gentleman of the breed. His health was as impressive as his conformation, with excellent scores (HD-A, ED-0, DM N/N), making him a remarkable foundation for any breeding program.
What made Gandalf truly special was not only his show ring success, but the legacy he passed on to his children. His stunning looks, balanced build, and gentle heart live on through his offspring — including our beloved Oberon.
Though we never met Gandalf in person, his presence is deeply felt in our home and kennel. We see him in the way Oberon carried himself, in his eyes, in his soul. Gandalf’s bloodline is a gift we cherish, and we are honored to continue his legacy through the next generation.
