Why Do We Ask You to Fill Out This Form?

At Spring Creek of Goldendale, our dogs are family. We are deeply committed to placing our puppies in homes where they will be safe, loved, and well cared for.

At Spring Creek of Goldendale, we are deeply committed to the lifelong well-being of our puppies.

We do not place our Bernese Mountain Dog puppies in apartments, condos, or homes without a properly sized, secure yard. These are large, active dogs who need space to grow, exercise, and thrive.

We also will not place a puppy with individuals who are currently struggling to stabilize their lives, believing a dog will “help fix” personal challenges. Puppies — especially Bernese Mountain Dogs — require significant time, resources, and emotional stability. They are a huge responsibility, not a temporary emotional solution.

Bringing a Berner into your life means accepting that your life will change permanently.
These dogs are not toys. They are living beings who deserve commitment, stability, and unconditional love for their entire lives.

And yes — they bark. Do not expect a Bernese Mountain Dog to be silent. Barking is part of who they are.

We love and respect our dogs too much to set them up for anything less.

Thank you for understanding our responsibility to them first.

If you’re not ready for that reality, please do not apply.

This Puppy Inquiry Form helps us understand your lifestyle, experience, and what you’re looking for in a companion. It also allows us to match each puppy with the most compatible home based on personality, activity level, and needs.

The form is not about judgment—it’s about finding the best fit for both you and the puppy. By taking the time to fill it out thoughtfully, you’re helping us ensure that our puppies go to homes where they will thrive for a lifetime.

🐾 Find Your Perfect Puppy Today!

Before you fill out the Puppy Inquiry Form, we encourage you to take a moment to explore our website, read about who we are, and understand our breeding philosophy.

It’s also important to look at the parents of the puppies—they offer wonderful insight into the temperament, size, and coat your future puppy may have.

Getting a puppy is a lifelong commitment, and we want you to feel confident, informed, and excited about this journey with us.

💳 Health, Vet Care & Insurance

Bernese Mountain Dogs are big, loving, and sometimes—yes—expensive.

Because of their size and breed-specific health risks, it’s essential that families are financially prepared for veterinary care throughout their Berner’s life. From routine wellness visits to unexpected emergencies, vet bills can add up quickly for a giant breed.

For this reason, we strongly encourage all of our puppy families to carry pet insurance. It’s one of the best ways you can protect your dog—and your peace of mind.

🐾 We include 30 days of FREE pet insurance through Trupanion with every puppy.

This coverage begins immediately upon pickup and helps ease the transition into your home. Details will be provided in your go-home folder.

We also include this insurance recommendation in our contract because we care deeply about each puppy’s long-term well-being. While we raise healthy, well-cared-for puppies, no breeder can promise a life free of health issues. What we can promise is our ongoing support—and that we’ll always advocate for doing right by these incredible dogs.

Please make sure you are financially ready for the responsibility of owning a Bernese Mountain Dog.

They give us everything—and they deserve the same in return.

🧡 A Message from Us

  •  We raise our puppies with love and care from day one. They are part of our family, and we want them to go to homes where they’ll be cherished as much as they are here.

  • Choosing to add a Berner to your life is a big decision—one filled with joy, cuddles, and laughter, but also responsibility, commitment, and patience. If you’re ready to open your heart to one of our gentle giants, we’d love to hear from you.

Better Yet, See Us in Person… Carefully.

Our home is also our sanctuary, and our animals’ health is our top priority.

For this reason, we do not allow casual visits or unannounced guests. We are especially cautious during high-risk seasons (like parvovirus outbreaks) and around young puppies who have not completed their full vaccination series.
